Do you want more traffic to your blog? Building a readership can be a real challenge for many new bloggers. However it’s quite simple. You need to give your readers what they want: when you do, they will become loyal subscribers.

Here’s how to make your blog a success.

1. Who’s Your Audience? Do They Need Your Information?

Start by thinking about your audience.

Describe your typical reader in five sentences.

Tip: imagine just one reader, because it’s both confusing and intimidating to think of an audience of thousands of people. When you think about just one person, and direct your information to that person, your blogging will be warm and personal. Because you’re comfortable, your readers will be more comfortable too.

Now think about what your reader wants, and needs.

For example, if you have a weight loss blog and you’ve decided that your reader is an obese woman in her 30s, with a young family, and a full-time job, make a list of what she needs.

She may need healthy recipes she can cook in 20 minutes or less, information on nutrition, and tips on fighting cravings.

When you think in terms of your reader and the circumstances of his or her life, creating content for your blog is much easier and simpler — and you’ll never run out of content.

2. Are You Real? Your Blogging Needs a Personal Touch

If you’ve been using blog automation tools, stop that right now. Your blog should be carefully crafted. Anyone who tells you you can get readers with an automated blog is lying to you.

You can only be successful if you put yourself into your blog. Therefore, if you don’t already have an About page, create one right now. Tell your reader your story, and connect with him (or her).

3. Promote Your Blog Where Your Audience Hangs Out

You need to promote your blog, but don’t start promoting it until you have sufficient content on the blog. This will usually be when you have at least 10 to 20 great posts which are worth reading.

Remember that when you promote, first impressions count. You want readers to reach your blog, and subscribe to your RSS feed because the information is excellent.

In a nutshell, your blog will be as successful as you want it to be: put your heart into it.

Identify What Works…. and Do it Again…. and Again….. Improving it Each Time

Here’s the thing – there’s no one technique that is going to bring every blog new traffic.

But if you try lots of different approaches and identify what does work – even if it only works a little – you’re on the way.

Find something that works for your blog, your niche, your demographic and then build upon that.

Some questions to help identify what is working (or what might work) with your readers and niche:

What topics generate most comments on your blog?
What topics generate most comments on other blogs in your niche?
What other sites do your readers visit a lot? What activities are they doing there?
What features are readers asking for?
What was your biggest traffic day – what brought it about?
Which of your posts seem to get Retweeted most on Twitter and passed around most on other social media sites?
Which of your posts are getting linked to most from other blogs/sites?
What other sites send you most traffic? How can you build relationships with these sites?

This list could go on and on – really it is about looking for points of life on your site (even small ones) where there’s some kind of energy or positive outcome happening – and then repeating them in some way – looking for opportunities to build upon and improve what you previously did.

Hello Veterans and Family Members,

My Name Is Bill Anderson,

I want to say a "Special Thanks To All The Veterans who are serving, there families, Loved ones and for those who will serve. I also want to thank specially the ones left behind because of the Special Veterans who gave the "Supreme Sacrifice" for all of us to live a peaceful life.

A special thanks to all families of the ones that have "Fallen recently in IRAQ, Afghanistan, and most recently "Fort Hood" in Texas.

We all know what we must do for our country once we join the Armed Forces, first be willing to follow the orders of those above us and second give our life for our country if that should arise. These are tough things to live with. How do I know, I am retired and disabled United States Navy and Navy Reserves Veteran.

The families of veterans have it so tough, never knowing when the service member will be home, called up or even months without contact. For that it is really tough it takes special people to be in the military. I salute the families, and all United States Navy, Navy Reserves, United States Marine Corps, United States Marine Corps Reserves, United States Air Force, Air Force Reserves, United States Army, Army Reserves, United States Coast Guard, and Coast Guard Reserves and The Army National Guard, Air National Guard and everyone who have served and will serve. God Bless America and God Bless You, "Thank You For Your Service" you all are truly appreciated.

Autoresponders give specific formatting instructions for mail that will be sent out. The reason that this formatting information is provided is because all email programs are not created equally.

Some email programs deliver email in plain text only and even if the email program is capable of receiving email in an HTML format, recipients often have the option
of choosing to receive email only in the plain text format.

Messages that are sent in the plain text format are readable in both plain text and HTML receptor email programs while those sent in the HTML format appear garbled and unreadable in a plain text receptor email program.

1. Compose your emails in the note pad program on your computer. This program uses only ASCII characters which plain text is made up of.

2.Your email needs to be formatted to no more than 65 characters per line. Plain text scrambles all characters greater than 65 making messages unreadable.

3. Do not use all capitals for long blocks of text. It is difficult to read. Using a single word for emphasis is alright occasionally...not in every sentence. All capital letters are considered shouting in the printed word.

4.Never use more than one exclamation point (!) at the end of a sentence. The use of multiple exclamation points (!!!!!) at the end of sentences Cheapens the statement rather than creating more emphasis as intended.
